Learn how to assist Backbends: guide students into and out of the pose, support their breath and micro-movements while holding the pose, and help them find their optimal alignment or variation.

Backbends, unlike forward bends, are not typically part of our daily movements—in fact, they are quite the opposite! It’s rare that we physically bend backward throughout the day, if at all. These poses are connected to the air element and expand the heart center both physically and energetically.
Payment for the series is final and non-refundable, except in the case of a medical emergency. Cancellation fees may apply to cover administrative costs. Cancellations made less than 14 days before a workshop/the series must be paid in full. However, the spot may be transferred to another person if necessary.
